Parents for Educational Freedom in North Carolina is marking 20 years of expanding educational opportunity in North Carolina and we are excited to celebrate!
On June 25 at 6:00PM at the Angus Barn Pavilion in Raleigh, we will reflect on the incredible strides we’ve made – doubling public charter school enrollment since the cap was eliminated in 2011, serving 5,000 students through the Special Needs ESA, and boasting nearly 90,000 Opportunity Scholarship recipients through universal eligibility. But we’re not stopping there! Let’s look ahead to what’s next, both in our state and how the national landscape is changing to better serve students and families.
