Parental School Choice

Parental School Choice means allowing parents to send their children to their school of choice – public, private or nontraditional – regardless of address or income.

Parental school choice is not a new concept. For centuries, New England states have provided tuition for children who live in rural towns and attend public and private schools in other districts. Currently, 14 different states and the District of Columbia have various types of parental school choice programs.
