Event to Address Equal Opportunity in Education

RALEIGH, NC – Partners for Educational Freedom in North Carolina ("Partners"), a statewide nonpartisan, nonprofit organization committed to empowering parents through choice in education, is hosting a public forum on parental school choice.

The two-hour forum is designed to shed further light on the issue of parental choice as an equal rights issue and to educate the public and community leaders about the benefits of greater educational options for all North Carolina families, regardless of race or income. State gubernatorial candidate and Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory is scheduled to speak. Over one thousand are expected to attend.

WHAT:
The program involves a "town hall forum" for the gubernatorial candidate to speak to the issue of parental school choice and is designed to generate dialogue amongst community, business and school leaders as well as parents.
