PEFNC starts grassroots effort for elimination of the charter cap

Parents for Educational Freedom in North Carolina (PEFNC) recently launched a campaign where supporters are making up to 5,000 calls to Gov. Beverly Perdue by June 15, pleading with her to help eliminate the charter cap.

Supporters made more than 500 phone calls prior to a Tuesday morning PEFNC press conference where national, state and community leaders, as well as a fifth grader from Durham, urged the governor to remove the cap. You can read more about the press conference here.
