Darrell Allison, President Darrell Allison, President
Darrell brings significant governmental affairs and nonprofit experience to PEFNC. He got his start in the area of civil rights while working in the U.S. Department of Justice, and received his legislative experience on Capitol Hill where he led a successful grassroots lobbying effort in the U.S. Congress. Darrell is a graduate of the UNC Chapel Hill School of Law and North Carolina Central University.

Parent choice, in my view, is the civil rights issue of our time
Traci Brown Traci Brown, Vice President of Communications
Traci is a North Carolina native with substantial experience in education and communications. She earned her B.A. in English from Meredith College, graduating cum laude as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow certified to teach grades 9-12. After managing a newspaper division and working in the fields of advertising and legal administration, Traci was eager to return to a career with an educational focus. As a parent and former public school teacher, Traci is passionate about improving education in our state through fundamental reform.

Sybil Bowick Sybil Bowick, Director of Operations
Sybil provides critical organizational support and direction for PEFNC headquarters and the leadership team.  Ms. Bowick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from North Carolina Central University and has extensive knowledge and experience in public relations and communications, having most recently served as a Public Information Officer with the District of Columbia Department of Health.

Real equality starts with choice in education
Donald Bryson Donald Bryson, Constituent and Communications Associate
Donald has experience as an involved volunteer for PEFNC with a background in policy research. He has worked as a researcher in higher education policy. Donald also served as a debate coach for East Chapel Hill High School (NC) and James Madison University (VA) and is a licensed Baptist minister.  He has a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro, with a focus in Historical Perspectives.
